Become a Member
Membership Eligibility:
Any person who espouses and desires to promote the principles of libertarianism, as expressed in the “Statement of Principles” of the National Libertarian Party Platform shall be eligible for membership.

Membership Qualifications:
Any natural person who supports the purpose of JCLP, who has not had their membership terminated for cause, is qualified to become a member. To be eligible to vote on issues before the membership, or to become an officer, a member must be in good standing and have paid membership dues.

Membership Dues:
Members may become a voting member upon payment of $20 a year; dues for a student with a valid student ID shall be $10 a year.

Membership Dues Purpose:
Dues are used to fund and support the growth and activities of the JCLP. All of the members of the JCLP are here on a voluntary basis as is the Executive Committee. Dues collected allow the JCLP to organize events and activities, produce informational material, and to further the growth of the JCLP.

Membership Initiation:
Any qualified person, who informs the Chair or Vice-Chair of their desire to become a member, shall be made a member upon completing the membership form and paying their dues. Said member shall take the following Membership Oath (or pledge):

"I promise to never initiate force or use fraud to achieve personal or political advantage."
